The TYHD-DTU distribution automation remote terminal (hereinafter referred to as the distribution terminal) is a new generation of power distribution terminal based on the latest generation of automated remote terminal technology.
DTU power distribution network feeder automation device is developed in basis of hardware platform with high performance of 32 bits microprocessor,in basis of software platform with embedded real-time operation.
The data processing unit uses a high-speed digital signal processor DSP as the main processor, which is responsible for 10kV line voltage and current AC sampling, calculation and fault determination. Each data processing unit can process 48 AC analog inputs and 2 DC analog inputs.
Responsible for the communication between the distribution terminal and the main station system, and complete the forwarding function of remote signaling, telemetry, remote control and remote adjustment. Provides 4 RS232 ports/4 RS485 ports, 2 100/10 BASE-T Ethernet ports, 1 CAN interface, can communicate with the main station via external Modem or Ethernet, can communicate with the control center or substation, upload Information collected by the distribution terminal, accepting remote control commands.
Each analog telemetry board can acquire 16 AC analog quantities. The AC analog quantity is isolated by the voltage/current transformer and converted into a voltage signal. After filtering and AD sampling, it is sent to the MCU for processing. Through the debugging software, the three remote sampling information can be flexibly configured and configured to realize the data calculation processing and monitoring function of the high-voltage side ring network cabinet or the low-voltage side distribution.

DTU provides enough communication interface( 4 technical grade RS232 Serial ports, 2 of them can be equipped as RS485 ports,2 pieces of 10M Ethernet port,1 piece of USB port),main processor adapts technical grade 32 bits of high-performance processing chip, with specialized maintenance software, also can be remotely kept maintenance by specialized network, such as each CPU module is realized by bus. Main CPU module is as master station to control the whole communication process, the gathering CPU Module is as subsequent station, the communication rates is above 9600bps. Several device constitutes Ethernet bus through inner embedded industrial grade switch to make sure data processing and data exchange with sufficient bandwidth.
